There are public restrooms in Sauble Beach:

  • on Lakeshore Boulevard beside Ascent Aerial Park (map)
  • on the north end of the beach, near the tennis courts (map)

There are portable toilets on the beach south of the Sauble Beach sign and at 6th Street.

Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach from June 1st to Labour Day.

However, the Town of South Bruce Peninsula has several dog parks nearby:

Paid parking is in effect from June 1st to Labour Day each year and is enforced by by-law enforcement officers.

There are parking machines on Lakeshore Boulevard or you can pay for parking using the Passport Parking Canada app, available for Apple and Android.

Sauble beach has three tennis courts in two locations. The courts are open from late May until the end of September. Visit the Sauble Beach Community Center to pay and book your time.

There is a public boat launch on the Sauble River at the north end of Sauble Beach. It is located at 55 Sauble Falls Road (corner of Sauble Falls Road and Lakeshore Boulevard). There is no fee for launching boats.

There is a parking lot at 60 Sauble Falls Road/Poechman Lane. Paid parking rates apply as per the Town of South Bruce Peninsula parking rates.

There is a small section of beach near the Sauble Beach sign (Main Street and Lakeshore Boulevard) that allows parking on the beach. Outside of that small area, there is NO parking on the beach and motorized vehicles are NOT allowed on the beach.

Tents are prohibited on the beach under By-Law 102-2017. This by-law is enforced and by-law enforcement officers will ticket you for having tents on the beach. This includes tents intended for day-use only.

Sun shades are allowed but must not be enclosed.
