700 site campground seeks enthusiastic employees to assist in daily operation of water, sewer, washroom, laundry, garbage, recycling, registration, information, recreational and pool services.

3 Experienced Labourers Wanted 40 hours / week Immediately - November 1

This is a PUC type position that involves bending, lifting and construction. Applicants with a good knowledge of hand and power tools as well as some basic plumbing skills will be favoured. This is a safety sensitive position.

1 labourer wanted with pool operations experience. 40 hours / week May 1 - Oct 15.

This is a full time position that focuses on the opening, operation and shut down of our 3 swimming pools and 2 splash parks but is rounded out with hours on our maintenance team. This is a safety sensitive position.

2 Cleaners Wanted 15 hours / weekend May/June/Sept/Oct 30-35 hours / week June 29 - Sept 3

This position focuses on keeping our 7 comfort stations, laundry, pool, store and office buildings clean and welcoming for our 500 seasonal families and over 10,000 annual visitors. This is a safety sensitive position.

2 Night Patrollers Wanted 35 - 40 hours weekly June 29 - Sept 3

With a strict quiet hours policy our night patrollers must be firm in a tourist family friendly fashion. Assisting late arrivals to quietly and efficiently park and set up assures the enjoyment of all clients that select our campground based on the quietness of nights provided. In place for over 50 summers our policy enforcement is a critical component of our business’ success. This is a safety sensitive position.

1 Part Time bookkeeper Wanted 15 - 22 hours weekly year round

Type A personality with attention to detail is a priority. Simply accounting experience a plus. This year round part time position is a desk job on the second floor of our campground main office. Bookkeeper would be responsible for Receivables - Invoicing and collections. Payables - processing, issuing, mailing payments. Payroll, Bank deposits, hydro bill calculation, month end report calculations, other reports as requested. This is a safety sensitive position.

1 Governess Wanted 35 hours weekly June 29 - Sept 3 Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 and occational Saturdays.

Employee children (ages 6, 6, 8, 10) require a program for skills development as well as entertainment. Home base is provided. Will be required to plan, shop and make meals for children - with their involvement. Will be required to plan and execute educational components throughout the week days. Will be required to organize fun and entertaining events.

Priority will be given to mature individuals with parenting experience. Interested teaching candidates may also apply. This is a safety sensitive position.

We're looking for hard-working and reliable team members to clean cottages in Sauble Beach on weekends this summer. We're looking for hard-working and reliable team members to clean cottages in Sauble Beach on weekends this summer.
The job begins Saturday, July 7 and finishes Sunday, August 26.
Shifts begin at 11 AM and go to approximately 2-3 PM, on Saturdays and Sundays during July and August.
Training is at 11 AM on Monday, May 21st. It will include the cleaning of all the cottages that had renters over the May Long Weekend, and also a brief tour of all our other cottages. Expect to be finished at approximately 4 PM that day.
The pay is $25/hr if you use your car, and otherwise $20/hr.

Job Description:

Park Guides—Supervising guest experiences on course. Aiding and checking the guest’s equipment.

Candidates must be comfortable working at heights, engaging with people, physically active, and enjoy a challenge. They must be confident, and able to encourage guests to push their boundaries. Our team leaders must be able to think on their feet, able to listen and identify needs or concerns of others, and show respect for our operating procedures. They are assertive when the need arises to help mitigate risks to guests, and are able to work independently or as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements / Work Experience:

18 years of age or older is required to be a Park Guide at Ascent.

Other Job Requirements:

If you are ENERGETIC, AMBITIOUS, and LOVE being outdoors, we would love for you to join our team. Experience an asset. Candidates should posses a standard first aid and CPR certificate. Successful candidates will be fully trained in ropes course operations and emergency rescue equipment/procedures.
