Q: Is there a boat launch in Sauble Beach?

There is a public boat launch on the Sauble River at the north end of Sauble Beach. It is located at 55 Sauble Falls Road (corner of Sauble Falls Road and Lakeshore Boulevard). There is no fee for launching boats. There is a parking lot at 60 Sauble Falls Road/Poechman Lane. Paid parking rates apply as per the Town of South Bruce Peninsula parking rates.

Q: What is the parking situation at Sauble Beach?

Paid parking is in effect from June 1st to Labour Day each year and is enforced by by-law enforcement officers. There are parking machines on Lakeshore Boulevard or you can pay for parking using the Passport Parking Canada app , available for Apple and Android. Paid parking is administered by the Town of South Bruce Peninsula. Dogs are NOT allowed on the beach from June 1st to Labour Day. However, the Town of South Bruce Peninsula has several dog parks nearby: Oliphant Off Leash Dog Park ( map ) Bannister Park in Sauble Beach ( map ) Tayja's Doggy Park in Wiarton ( map ) Visit the Town of South Bruce Peninsula website here for more info on dog parks. The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is a leashed municipality, which means dogs must be controlled and leashed unless on the property belonging to the dog owner or in the DOLRA (Dog Off Leash Recreation Area).
